Yes, planning your outfits for family photos seems daunting but we will be more than happy to provide a guide on what to wear. We also listen to your vision when it comes to location and will be more than willing to go the extra mile for the location of your dreams. We will also send out questionnaires to get a better understanding of who you are and what you're looking for. Going on a blind date is scary enough, I would love to know you a little bit more before we go get lost in the woods together.

Shelby is wonderful to work with and her pictures are beautiful. Not only does she have talent, but she is fun and easy to work with. My children (and husband) do not love being in front of the camera, yet she had them all smiling and laughing. My husband afterwards said that it was painless and stated we should use her again. I agree! Shelby made family pictures enjoyable for us all and now we have amazing picture to remember this stage of our lives.

Shelby is amazing. Her personality made us feel so comfortable and welcome, it was like she’s known us for years and we were just there to hang out. She made all 4 of my kids feel comfortable, calling them by name, and respecting when they said no. She handled my infant so gently, as if it was her own baby. Not to mention, the girl is funny! It’s hard NOT to smile when she’s the one taking your photos! She was quick at getting the pictures back to us, and seeing them… wow. I have never seen more beautiful photos! We literally look like photo-stock if you were to search “happy family”
I really cannot recommend Lavender Laine enough. We had originally booked with her because she offers shoots in her home, where we could use her spare bed as a prop. One of my daughters has some health things going on that makes it hard to hold her head up, so I figured an calm, comfy shoot would be more ideal that one in nature or standing in front of a backdrop, and dang… my expectations are exceeded. I’ll be back yearly! ❤️

Our experience with Shelby was the best family photo shoot I’ve had. Every year I would wrap up our one hour shoot in thirty minutes because my little one would be over it and it became painful trying to seem pleasant for any more photos. With Shelby, the time flew by. She is so great with kiddos! Even when my daughter was rolling around and being silly, Shelby encouraged it and got so many great pictures. 100% recommend!
